Journey of life...

Just as I was hoping for a smooth sailing of journey for the year ahead between my work and studies. Some unexpected events had occurred, the company which I have been working on for the past 3 years had changed its management team unexpectedly.

Different management team, different directions and I hope this will not effect too much or causes too much changes within my working place. Hope that everything will be as usual as possible in company under the new management.

Not sure how will the new management plans the developments of my current working company products. Our duty was suppose to test them out before they are released to the market.

Relationship wise is not sailing as smooth as I have supposed so, I might not be a prefect person or a guy but when you truly loved someone deeply beyonds dollars and cents. You also will be hoping that this particular person will also try to step into ur life provide a good level of understanding,caring and sharing with you...

Being a guy at 25, I have kept many problems to my ownselves. Because I truly believe this girl that I am deeply in loved with deserved great care and adore. I have tried my very best for the past 3 years. I am feeling lost, when I saw those fact of interest she was placing on was not on me but something that shocks me. Should I said to the level of betray of trust? I am not sure...anyway she won't be viewing this very post I am writing and instead placing her interest on some other people's blog, chasing somethings that wasn't hers even to the state of getting hurt by it. I suppose she doesn't mind at all...

I made a promise when I was at the age of 21 on that very day of 8th April 2006 9.35pm that time will prove my care towards her and I will at least guide her properly until she reaches adulthood at the age of 21, lastly try to let her believe that true love exist in this world. That minimum duration of the promise is about to reach its maturity soon.. I will be celebrating joyfully for her adulthood and I will allow her freedom and choices for her future journey in life. Cos to love someone, you need not have to hold her with you.. but let her fly freely and strive for her wishes and by seeing her happily and I will be happy for her too..

In studies wise, I am now writing a VBNET database program which I learned during the advanced diploma lessons I attended. Alot of thinking and learing of new codes to be done inorder to make that program works. In additonal to it, I have a written network operating system examination which will be held on 8th september 2009.

Encouragement Story...

Ever since I am young... filming, firm editing, watching short films and emotional MTV have always caught my interests and attention...

Its not a weird expression of life but a certain type of special feeling or emotion which we tend to ignored or overlooked...

Short films actually brightness some of us and helps us to review the value of lives. A short film could help brighten up a person's mind at their lowest moment of their life...

Just like this recent short film done by Mediacorp Channel 8, its about a little girl who used to be very internal self and even talk to objects instead of human interaction...

There is this guy who is willingly to make a friend with her and protect her against the bully of other classmates due to her talking with object habits...

Even when doctors are checking her, she showed a very unique reaction with her eyes opening as wide as possible with no clues for doctor to search for...

With the guidance her childhood friend who doesn't mind her weakness but felt that she is unique and special. Maybe this kind of support and understanding might have changed her as she grown up...

Those weakness have turn into a platform for her emotional expression when she attended an audition for acting with a partner... Her expression during the audition have caught the eyes and attention of the judges and given her the approval...

Credits to Mediacorp newcomer Paige Chua 蔡琪慧 for her efforts in handing the emotional expression extremely well and also the great choices of filming objects and location such as those playgrounds of the 1980s...

The very first moment she ran out of the audition was to look for the childhood guy, maybe due to the fact that he discovered her, supported her and care for her when she was nothing... instead of the jewel and recognition of her acting skills shown during her acting audition...

The film seems to be showing that even at the lowest point of your life, there is always hope and changes if we are willing to look forward our life with positive and bright ideas... :)

Assignment Project during ITE days...

For those been with me during my secondary days and ITE days would know my favorite idol is Cyndi Wang and Faye Wong...

Cyndi Wang due to her first album Cindy Begin which touches me while Faye Wong is due to the way she sang and the special feel in most of her song...

There was project during my ITE days which we require us to do a video editing of 2mins..

No topics but just an assignment which allow us to learn a video editing program.. I can't even remember what program I am learning.. oops :x

I decided to use Cindy Begin 'On My Way' MV and Faye Wong's song Bu Liu and attempt to create a feeling and I remember it took me few days to complete the editing...special words are also added around the video in order to cover up the actual lyrics of the 'On My Way' MV and make it as naturally as possible, finally making sure the song runs naturally well with the MV...

Upon editing and submission of that video... I have the urge to carry on video editing at that period of time as it was a very special and unique way of bringing out a feeling, not a bad feeling but focusing on a particular feeling and keep the feeling at the moment just like time capsule...

Anyway.. it was 6 years ago.. time flys .. i missed ITE days alot.. :(

singapore @ 6pm

I took a train at 6pm, was actually on my way home between Bugis to Lakeside MRT and it has been a long time since i did that.

Getting into the packed train is just the same as in the morning when I was on my way to work...

But the differences is that.. in the morning the train noise level is very low and everyone was in sort of zombie mode, falling asleep during the train ride..

But during the evening ride everyone was very relax, adults chatting around, students playing with each other, some of them play PSP, others reading their newspaper and books...

When the train come out of the tunnel and reaches Redhill MRT, I saw even much more outside, traffic jams due to everyone driving at the same direction home, bus squeezed with packs of people but these people got down rite below bus stop at Buona Vista MRT and board for train after a day of work...

Construction workers carrying on their handwork building the future shopping center, housing estate, condos, mrt lines. I always pay attention to them because I feel that are these group of people who spend the most effort building so we could enjoy it..

Then I saw students walking together home, people cycling after work, aunts carrying bag and bags of vegetable after shopping at supermarket...

Looking at the early evening with sun shining around...

Everything seems so alife and Life is beautiful after all

All we have to do is to we pay more attention and look at the surroundings...

Enjoy the breeze brought by the wind or leaves dropping down all together...

Many tend to overlook due to our busy lifestyle.. include me :)

Usain Bolt...

Remember this guy called Usain Bolt, the famous man who won the 100 meters and broke the world record in Beijing Olympics last year?

He slowed down at the last moment of the running in beijing, yet still broke the world record in style. After the running he celebrate his winning by showing the arrow sign and have caught the world attention...

Yup, he have once again prove himself as the world fastest man.. in Berlin World Championships 2009.. this time breaking his previously record with 9.58sec...

On analysis it basically means he is running at a speed on 40km/h during the race....

Typhoon Morakot...

Something serious had happen in Taiwan.. on 8 August 2009..

Typhoon Morakot...

This Typhoon have brought the largest ever rainfall recorded in history of taiwan in a single day with additional of powerful winds with it..

Excessive rains and powerful winds are causing mudslides everywhere and southern taiwan is now soaked in water...

But as I am typing this posting after the 10th day of the actual incident, many of the people are still trapped in dangerous environment and are still waiting for being saved...

Hope that this disaster will soon be over for them... :(

Sony Ericssion Satio...

I have been holding Sony Ericsson W580i for the past 2 years since I last extended my mobile phone contract with starhub mobile in December 2007.

I had previously owned a few phones and always change to another brand upon extension of contact as I don't feel comfortable with the phone I am holding then...

Thing changes when I had this white colour Sony Ericsson W580i, I never feel bored or have any tendency of changing the phone anymore...I even brought a mobile socks with the suitable size my mobile phone and wear it on when I am not using it..

Mobile socks could prevent starches and cushion the impact in any events of dropping and when I want to use it to make a call or sms, I could just remove wear the socks out in a very short time and wear it on after finish using it...

It been 2 years... although I must admit I have sent this phone for repair for like 7-8 times due to audio problems, card reader spoilt, keypad crack and I rarely drop it also... since I hold it...

But its really a nice phone to get along with... nice menu interface.. serious GUI graphics design within in...and a nice white colour design casing outside it..so it always give you a feel that this is a phone created sincerely for its user...

Starhub have contacted me.. last friday that they will be senting me some vouchers and I could use it if i decided to extend my PowerValue 100 student plan for another 2 years.. they also said I could request for another batch of voucher if I didn't use it within 1 month of issue ...

Since then I have been going into searching mode for my next mobile phone... Its been a long time since I went mobile phone shop, try out different phones and chat with the promoters on phones they could recommend...

There are 5 Mobile Phones.. I have shortlisted.. LG GM730,KM900 and Sony Ericsson W705, W995 but the most outstanding one is Sony Ericsson Satio but haven't released on market yet..so i have to wait for another 2-3 months..

Satio is the first full package touch phone released from Sony Ericsson..it contains a good touch phone GUI, 12.1 MB pixel camera and still compact enough to be kept inside a mobile socks like i did currently with my W580i...

I decided that I will save up a small amount every month from now on... till it released and the pricing is stable before I go for it... cause there's no rush for another phone at for moment for me at the moment...

Just go for a phone that I won't get bored with for another 2 years :)

an everlasting love against time...

Finally i got to watch the movie UP with her, I can understand why alot of people feel this movie as boring. Because it was like telling a grand father story with the movie starting in black and white pictures explaining about some outdated adventure man in the 1950s.

For those who understand the meaning of memories and how memories can make a person feel,touch and recalls..this movie is tailor made for them...

The movie begins with Carl Fredricksen who was a kid with adventure mind but shy after watching a 1950s movie while he was young, he met another kid called Ellie who is a outgoing and rather eccentric girl..

They met and shared the same hobbies of going to a place in South America call 'Paradise Falls' and they growed up together and become couples and get married.

During their long marriage life they are happily together like drawing the mailbox going out together to the park for a walk... etc..

In their marriage love they made 2 wishes... first is to have a baby... but unfortunately the doctors told them they are unable to make that wish come true and they look forward for their second wish which is to travel to 'Paradise Falls'

But when they always rise up enough money to go 'Paradise Falls' for vacation.. something always cropped up and they have to use up all the money they saved...

Slowly they got old, during the times going to those parks Ellie was unable to walk as fast as before... she was struggling and the last chance of going to 'Paradise Falls' was gone as Ellie was old.. sicked and passaway...

Carl Fredricksen was feeling so sad.. his long life partner is gone... all is left is all memories together..

Even the changes of times is testing him and their relationship, buildings are changing around his house area and the development company even wants to takeover his house and force him to retirement house...

Inorder to escape all this and to achieve the adventure he promised to his passaway wife.. he flooded his rooftop with balloons and made the house float and flying towards the 'Paradise Falls'.

This movie presents a memory of an everlasting love and the test of time against them, also the fated of those old people in real-life where some of their old houses are really being removed in order to create new developments.

I am touched with the love story that test against time but my girl friend felt it's boring.. maybe a cartoon should be simple? :)

Happy Birthday Singapore...

Today is 9 August 2009, It is Singapore's 44th years old birthday...For those who studied history will know how Singapore begin it's own journey as a nation...

I really happy and deeply in heart feel proud as a Singaporean when looking back at my country's achievements as a small country...

Alot of my memories about singapore will always be in my mind.. the food, mrt train, primary school days, secondary school days, ITE days and 2 years of National Service...

In 2004, amidst of my BMT period.. I could only watch National Day Parade 2004 until 7pm and I took a cab and rush back to my camp for booking in... those days during army, I always look forward for ORD...

But no matter how we don't have a choice to choose to serve for National Service.. I manage to understand as a small country.. we need something to protect ourselves otherwise we won't have the achievement we had today...

When I was a kid.. One People, One Nation, One Singapore...is my favorite national day song...

i am back...

Sorry everyone... due many things I need to settle on... I nearly forgot about my blog..

I am back... hehe...

Anyway the clouds infront of me.. have seems to be much clearer then it was during the previous month.... I manage to get an extension on my job and now I can fully concentrate on my higher diploma studies.. all the way till it finishes on June 2010

But on another side, alot of new assignments are coming in amidst of our national day and I have to submit it up.. by next month... so this coming month will be a very busy month I suppose.. :/

Every year.. other then chirstmas and new year period.. this is the most exciting month for me personally... alot of special memories and events seems to been occurring all together on this month.. august..

On 2nd august.. I celebrate my 2nd year of holding my driving license...in 2nd Aug 2007 but as i am excited and happy on 2nd Aug 2008 last year.. I also had my first car accident on the exact day I took my Probation plate out...

I was driving to Grand Cathay Multi Story Car Park.. I found a parking lot.. I drove in directly from front and the car front kit got stuck on the car park curb underneath.. due to the weight of me and my girl friend... what a way to have my first car accident... hais but lucky everyone around my gf family was understanding.. and it was not due to judgment error.. or i hit something..

6 August was my birthday... it was the first ever time I work on my birthday..I was on leave every year since I started to work at my current job.. partly I am abit worry with the economy crisis effect, another reason is I wanna use my off day for preparing and studying my assignment and examinations.

I personally want to thanks everyone around to celebrated my birthday... down my heart I want to said a 'thank you' to them...

Lastly, thanks to my gf for the gift she passed to me in the evening... I have alot of to update... in my next posting...
